À Chair de Roche, KEIN MUSEUM
À Chair de Roche is an exhibition born from a fascination with quarries and the exploration of their environments, processes, and materials on a deeper level through various media. It investigates the ambiguities and fluidities of quarries as cultural sites, it explores stone as both the material and the source of cultures: our physical relation to stone, our use of it and the way in which we deviate from it. A selection of material was presented in July 2021 at KEIN MUSEUM Off Space in Zürich as an installation consisting of performative and process-based video works and sculptures. A catalogue documenting the process was produced by the curators to complement the exhibition, featuring a collection of texts and visual material.
